Should Gay Adoption be Allowed? will be taking the pro side of gay adoption. I believe that gays should be allowed to adopt and that there’s nothing wrong with having two parents of the same sex. The posts on here will have to do with the research I’ve found relating to the topic.
In case you didn’t know, Florida is the only state that explicitly bans homosexuals from adopting. The law has been in place since 1977. Other states won’t allow unmarried couples from adopting, AKA: Gay couples that aren’t allowed to marry in the state they live in.
Other states, New Jersey included, allow gays to adopt. Some states allow them to be foster parents, but never adopt. This is a huge problem, and should be given more attention. Gays should be allowed to adopt children nationwide if they are qualified and have the skills fit to be good parents.
